An oil that actually goes in.
Most hair oils sit on top and call it shine. This one melts into the shaft — 2.7 times more hydration, 69% less frizz, and no greasy finish to show for it.
Hydrates
2.7 times more hydration, driven by an eight-oil blend with squalane and hyaluronic acid.
Smooths
69% less frizz for 24 hours, with a glossy finish rather than a greasy one.
Strengthens
51% less breakage, and it helps protect against heat on the way through.
2.7x more hydration, 51% less breakage and 69% less frizz for 24 hours, based on clinical testing.
What it is
It goes into the hair shaft instead of coating it, which is the difference between hair that's genuinely hydrated and hair that just looks shiny for an hour. Vegan and cruelty-free.
How to use it
One
Medium to thick hair: two to three pumps. Coarse or very dry: three to four.
Two
On damp hair before heat styling, for protection and smoothness.
Three
On dry hair to settle frizz, define curls or add shine.
Start lower than you think and build — it's concentrated. Overdone it? A little dry shampoo will absorb the excess.
What's in it
Squalane
Locks moisture in and keeps the hair supple rather than stiff.
Hyaluronic acid
Draws water into the strand, which is where the hydration figure comes from.
Jojoba oil
Closest thing to the hair's own oils, so it absorbs rather than sitting on top.
Castor & coconut oils
The heavier end of the blend — for thick and textured hair that can take it.
Good to know
Silicone-free, vegan and cruelty-free.
Questions about Amika Water Sign
Is Water Sign safe on colour-treated hair?
Yes. It suits colour-treated hair and helps prevent the breakage that comes with regular heat styling.
Will it make my hair greasy?
Not if you start small. Begin with a pump or two and build — the formula is concentrated and absorbs well when you don't overdo it.
Can you use it with other styling products?
Yes. It works alongside leave-ins and creams, and finishes curls or sleek styles nicely.
What hair types is it for?
Thick, textured, coarse or very dry hair. Fine hair will usually find it too rich.
