How do I book an appointment?

You can book directly through our online booking system via the Book Now button at the top of the page. Select your service, preferred stylist and a time that suits you. If you need help, feel free to call or email us and we'll sort it out.

How long will my appointment take?

Timing varies by service — a quick trim might take 45 minutes while a full colour and cut can take 3 hours or more. Each service listing shows an estimated duration so you know what to expect before you book.

I'm a new client — what should I book?

Welcome! If you're after a cut, book the Shampoo, Cut & Blow Dry (New Client) service — it includes extra time for a thorough consultation so we can get to know your hair. If you're unsure, book a complimentary consultation and we'll guide you from there.

What is your cancellation policy?

We ask for at least 24 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. Late cancellations or no-shows may incur a fee. We appreciate you respecting our team's time — we'll always do the same for yours.

Do you offer a colour consultation before booking?

Absolutely. We offer a complimentary 15-minute consultation where we'll chat through your hair goals, assess your current condition and put together a plan that works for your hair and your lifestyle. No pressure, no commitment.

Why are your prices listed as a range?

Hair is personal and no two heads are the same. Pricing varies based on hair length, thickness and the amount of product required. We'll always give you an accurate quote during your consultation before we begin any service.

What brands do you use?

We work with professional-grade products we trust — including ghd, Pureology and Amika. All products used in the salon are also available to purchase in our online store, so you can keep up your results at home.

Can I bring my children to my appointment?

We love kids at Skout! We even have dedicated children's services — Baby Skout for ages 0–7 and 7–11, and Teen Skout for 12 and over. If you're bringing little ones along to your own appointment, just give us a heads up when booking.
